MIAMI, FL | April 21, 2026 | Two weekends after becoming the first Latina artist to headline Coachella, Karol G is not slowing down. The Colombian singer announced her new world tour, "Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour," on Monday, a 39-stadium run that will take her across North America, South America and Europe, with additional cities still to be confirmed.
The Coachella headlining slot was already a milestone on its own. The festival, held in Indio, California, has historically favored rock and pop acts at the top of its billing, and Karol G's two-weekend run marked a visible shift in what the festival now considers its marquee draw. The performance drew widespread coverage from Billboard and other outlets who noted the cultural weight of the moment, not just for the artist but for Latin music's standing on the global stage.

Karol G Is Taking the Tropitour to Stadiums That Have Never Seen a Latina Headline
According to the announcement, the tour will make Karol G the first Latina artist to headline stadiums across Europe as part of a global run. Tickets go on sale beginning Monday, April 27, with an artist presale launching first. Fans in the U.S., Canada and Europe can register for presale access at her official site through Friday, April 24. The tour is promoted by Live Nation.
The announcement follows what her team described as the "Mañana Será Bonito World Tour," a 62-show, multi-continent run that sold more than 2.3 million tickets and grossed over $300 million. That tour ended with four sold-out nights at Madrid's Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, one of the most recognized venues in the world. Closing a world tour there carries weight. It is not a venue artists get to headline without a fanbase that is already enormous.

The Numbers Behind the Tropitour Announcement
The new tour arrives on the back of "TROPICOQUETA," her 2025 studio album, which the artist's camp says delivered the largest U.S. streaming week ever for a Latin album by a woman and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, her fourth consecutive chart-topper in that category. As Rolling Stone and others have covered, Karol G now holds over 117 billion career streams and more than 310 RIAA Platinum certifications in the United States, figures that place her among the most streamed female artists in any genre.
Her 2023 album "MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO" was the first Spanish-language album by a woman to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, a benchmark that drew significant attention to the broadening commercial reach of Latin music in the U.S. mainstream. She also holds a Grammy for Best Música Urbana Album.
VIP packages for the Tropitour will include premium ticketing, access to a pre-show lounge and exclusive merchandise, with package contents varying by market.
What the Tropitour represents in practical terms is significant: a Latin artist filling 39 stadiums across three continents is not a footnote. A decade ago, that kind of routing was reserved for a short list of English-language acts. The shift has been building for years, but the scale Karol G is now operating at makes the argument concrete. The tour dates begin to go on sale in less than a week, and the full routing has yet to be revealed.
