PRIVACY POLICY

FAME Magazine · Last updated 17 September 2026

This policy covers thefamemag.com. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can tell us to stop.

The site is operated by FAME Magazine, 1025 E Hallandale Beach Blvd, Ste 15-816, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009-4478.

WHAT WE COLLECT
‍
When you subscribe or get in touch. Your name and email address, and whatever you write to us.
‍
‍When an advertiser or contributor contacts us. Business contact details and whatever is exchanged while arranging a placement.

When you just read.
Your IP address, browser and device type, which articles you read, how you arrived, and how long you stay.

We do not require an account to read anything, and we do not ask for more than an email address to receive the newsletter.

COOKIES AND TRACKING

‍
Three categories, matching the banner shown on your first visit.

Cookie categories
Category What it does Runs without consent
Essential Makes the site work, remembers your cookie choice Yes
Analytics Tells us what people read No
Advertising Measures our ads and shows you relevant ones No
Third-party services
Service Category What it is for
Google Tag Manager Essential Loads the tags below, sets no cookies itself
Google Analytics Analytics Which articles get read
Meta Pixel Advertising Conversion measurement and remarketing

If we add advertising technology that serves ads directly on the site, this table changes before it goes live, not afterwards.

CHANGING YOUR MIND
‍
The Cookie settings link in our footer reopens the panel at any time. Turning something off stops it from that moment; it does not delete what was collected before.

If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland, nothing but essential cookies runs until you accept. Everywhere else, analytics and advertising run unless you opt out.

GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL
‍
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an instruction not to share your information for advertising, and apply it automatically.

THE NEWSLETTER
‍

If you subscribe, we use your email address to send the newsletter and nothing else. Every edition has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. We do not sell, rent or share the subscriber list.

SPONSORED CONTENT
‍
We publish sponsored articles and paid placements. Where an article is paid for, it is labelled as such on the article itself.

Sponsors do not receive your personal information. They may receive aggregate figures about how a placement performed, such as how many people read it. Those figures do not identify anyone.

TEXT MESSAGES

We do not currently send marketing text messages.

WHO WE SHARE WITH

The services in the table above receive the data described. We do not sell your information for money.

We share information with Meta for advertising. Under California law this counts as sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, and rejecting advertising cookies stops it.

We also share with the providers who host the site and send the newsletter, and with anyone we are legally required to give it to.

YOUR RIGHTS

If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, take it elsewhere, and withdraw consent at any time.

If you are in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another US state with a privacy law, you can ask what we have collected, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Reject advertising in the cookie banner, send a Global Privacy Control signal, or email us.

HOW TO REACH US

We answer within 45 days, and may ask you to confirm who you are first.

HOW LONG WE KEEP THINGS

Newsletter subscribers until you unsubscribe, plus a record of the unsubscribe so we do not email you again by mistake. Advertiser and contributor correspondence for three years. Analytics data for 14 months. Advertising identifiers for up to two years.
