WHAT THIS SITE IS

FAME Magazine is an entertainment and pop culture publication. We publish articles, run a newsletter, and sell advertising and sponsored placements.

USING THE SITE

You may read it, share links to it, and quote from it with attribution and a link. You may not republish whole articles, scrape the site at a scale that degrades it, break into non-public parts, or present our work as your own.

Automated collection of our content for training or resale is not permitted without written agreement.

EDITORIAL CONTENT

Articles are commentary and reporting. We check what we publish but do not warrant that everything is free of error, and opinion is opinion.

Coverage of a person, brand or product is not an endorsement by us, and does not imply they endorse us.

If you believe something we published about you is wrong, email us. We would rather correct it than argue about it.

ADVERTISING AND SPONSORED CONTENT

We accept paid placements: sponsored articles, advertising, and other arrangements agreed in writing.

Anything paid for is labelled. Sponsored articles carry a clear label identifying them as sponsored or paid content, positioned so a reader sees it before reading, not buried at the bottom. This is not negotiable as part of a placement deal, and an advertiser who asks us to remove or obscure the label is refused.

That sits here because the FTC requires it: a paid placement that reads as independent editorial is a deceptive advertisement, and the liability lands on the publisher as well as the advertiser.

Editorial control stays with us. Paying for a placement buys the placement. It does not buy coverage elsewhere on the site, influence over unrelated articles, or the removal of anything we have already published.

Advertiser responsibilities. If you buy a placement, you confirm you have the rights to everything you supply, that your claims are truthful and substantiated, and that the content complies with advertising law. You agree to cover our costs if a claim arises from what you gave us.

We may decline or remove any placement, including after publication, if it turns out to be misleading, unlawful, or not what was represented to us. Placement terms are agreed separately in writing and those terms govern payment and scheduling.

CONTRIBUTOR SUBMISSIONS

If you submit work to us, you confirm it is yours, that it has not been published elsewhere unless you told us, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.

You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to publish it on the site and in our channels, and to keep it in our archive. We may edit for length, clarity and house style.

THIRD PARTY LINKS

We link to other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they contain.

Some outbound links may earn a commission. Where that applies we say so on the page.

AVAILABILITY

We try to keep the site up but do not promise it will always be available or error-free, and may change or remove any part of it without notice.

LIABILITY

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, FAME Magazine is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of it, and total liability relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars.

This does not limit obligations under a signed advertising agreement, which are dealt with in that agreement.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

INDEMNITY

If your use of the site breaks these terms or the law and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs.

GOVERNING LAW

Wyoming law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts serving Wyoming, and both sides agree those courts have jurisdiction.

CHANGES

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when.
