Kevin performed on stage, sharing his most recent single released on July 7th, Mis Compas Tan Aquí along with San Lucas, a song about a small town where his family is from and where he has most of his childhood memories. He wrote it about love and about a couple that arrives in the town and is able to have all the feelings he had when he lived there. Additionally, Kevin and Silvana Estrada presented Natalia Lafourcade the award Legend in Spanish. After winning the award, on his Instagram page he wrote, “Aaah que bonitos dias de verdad, y rodeado de artistas bien bellos. Gracias a toda la gente que me ha apoyado y me ha dado su cariño todo este tiempo..”.
Kevin Kaarl is a 23-year-old Mexican singer-songwriter and musician. He was gifted with the ability to write and produce songs at a young age, and this has allowed him to go from his hometown of Chihuahua, Mexico, to performing on large stages with well-known performers like GRAMMY Award-winning R&B singer Leon Bridges.
Kevin has had a turning point in his career this year, having been named one of Spotify and Pandora's "Artists To Watch" for 2023. During the Paris Texas Tour's U.S. leg, which featured notable performances in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago, he sold out every city.
On Thursday, October 12, Kevin performed at the Miami Beach Bandshell, the artist's first performance in Miami. The venue was filled with his devoted fans that sang along to every song he performed. His songs have a distinctive blend of folk and pop elements with profound lyrics about the dark side of romance, which make it hard to hold back tears. With his baritone voice, he performed many of his Spanish hits, and also his English single Next to You which was one of his first releases. His performance was a memorable one!
