Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, the renowned global collective known for their innovative fusions of ska, reggae, samba, rock, pop, and salsa, have announced four new dates for their 2023 USA run. The shows, which are produced by Loud And Live and Move Concerts, will kick off on September 22 at the Smart Financial Centre in Houston, TX. The quartet of shows will also include stops in Dallas and New York, before wrapping up in Hollywood, FL at the Hard Rock Live.
Led by co-founders Vicentico and Sr. Flavio, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs have enjoyed nearly 40 years of success and were the first Argentine and Spanish-speaking group to participate in the popular MTV Unplugged series. They have produced a groundbreaking array of albums that have boasted collaborations with international icons like Celia Cruz, Debbie Harry, Mick Jones, and Rubén Blades, who was featured on Fabulosas Calavera. This album earned them a GRAMMY® Award in 1998 in the Best Rock/Alternative Performance category.
Los Fabulosos Cadillacs' singles have become worldwide hits, including El Matador, Vasos Vacíos, Siguiendo La Luna, and Mal Bicho, among others. The group's ways with words have complemented their ear-perking music, as Vicentico and Sr. Flavio often penned witty, irreverent verse that touched on socially-engaged topics, as well as slice-of-life themes. The band's enduring musical influence can be heard in the work of numerous artists who mix a wide array of pulsating sonic blends, ranging from reggae to reggaeton.
