Ecuador's prominent newspaper, El Universo, recently highlighted the top 5 most-streamed Ecuadorian female artists on the renowned platform Spotify. Representing the city of Guayaquil, Luz Pinos leads the list with over 320,330 monthly listeners on the streaming platform.

Produced by José Luis Pardo (Cheo Pardo), "Café con Miel" is the result of four years of work. This danceable album reflects Luz's evolution since her last release, offering a pure, honest, and warm sound with a touch of fresh Latin pop. "For me, music is like a hug. Many songs have healed me, and that's what I always want to do with my music: heal and bring a little joy to people's lives," comments Luz.

The focus track, also titled "Café con Miel," is a song that captures the bitter and sweet moments of life. It is one of the songs inspired by her son, Matias, to whom Luz has dedicated many songs, including "Capulí" and "Aquí voy a estar," both of which are included in this discography.

The rhythm of "Café con Miel" combines elements of pambiche and gentle bachata, infused with Dominican güira and tambora. This new album follows the success of "Mariposa azul," which allowed Luz to tour internationally in countries such as Peru, Colombia, and the United States. Her debut album garnered numerous nominations and won awards such as Best Album of the Year at the IMAs and the Global Music Awards. She was also recognized as the breakthrough artist at the Ecuatorianos de la Música Awards.
