The heart of salsa beat loud and proud at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Puerto Rico, where Norberto Vélez delivered a sold-out show with his concert “Romance y Sabor.” The Puerto Rican singer-songwriter lit up the stage with a night full of rhythm, nostalgia, and boleros that stirred the soul. Backed by a flawless orchestra and electrifying energy, Norberto had the audience singing and dancing from start to finish.
The show was packed with unforgettable surprises, including guest appearances by salsa legends Víctor Manuelle, Maelo Ruiz, and maestro Cucco Peña. Together, they created magical moments that honored the genre’s roots while highlighting Norberto's growing influence as a standout voice in today’s salsa scene. It was a musical celebration that will be remembered for years to come.

This epic night also marked the release of his latest album Yo A Su Estilo, a bold and heartfelt tribute to salsa icons. The record features powerhouse collaborations with Tito Nieves, Luis Enrique, Nino Segarra, and Luis Perico Ortiz. Rather than imitate, Norberto channels each legend’s sound through his own unique voice—most notably on “Algo en Tu Mirada” with Luis Enrique, a track already resonating with fans.
On April 10, Norberto brought that same energy to ZEY ZEY Miami in a free concert that packed the house. Fans from across South Florida came together for an intimate night of music, where Vélez performed both new songs and fan favorites. The event proved once again that Norberto is not only preserving salsa's legacy—he’s pushing it forward.
From his musical roots in Hatillo to now amassing over 600,000 subscribers on his YouTube series Sesiones Desde La Loma, Norberto Vélez continues to rise as one of Puerto Rico’s most authentic tropical music voices. With three solo albums and historic collaborations under his belt, his journey is far from over. The salsa movement has a new star, and his name is Norberto.
