Renowned entertainment, marketing and media company, Loud and Live, today revealed the "Volver a Casa" tour by legendary Puerto Rican salsa singer, Tito Nieves. Set to debut in Dallas, Texas at the Majestic Theater on Friday, October 13, the tour promises a rousing journey through Houston and Miami, culminating on February 9, 2024, at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Fans can expect to sway to Nieves' greatest hits, including "El amor más bonito," "Fabricando fantasías," "De mí enamórate," "Sonámbulo," and "I Like It Like That."
Nieves, often dubbed the "Pavarotti of Salsa", was born in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, and nurtured in the United States. His career took flight with the Cimarrón Orchestra, a New York-based group. In 1977, he joined forces with “the singer of singers,” Héctor Lavoe, sharing the stage and the spotlight. Just a year later, he co-founded the Conjunto Clásico, touring the globe and producing eight albums. Nieves' solo career, launched in 1987, propelled him to international fame.

With a staggering 50 albums under his belt and a career spanning five decades, the multi-platinum salsa artist and winner of numerous international awards is showing no signs of slowing down. His new song, "Volver a Casa", penned by Colombian singer-songwriter Mario Cáceres, is a heartfelt tribute to those forced to leave their homeland and families behind. "Volver a Casa" has already clinched a top five spot on the "Latest and Best of Salsa/Salsa Nation" playlist on Spotify. His latest single "Soy," a collaborative effort with Gilberto Santa Rosa, pays homage to Cuban singer-songwriter Willy Chirino's classic hit.
Tickets for the "Volver a Casa" tour will be available for pre-sale on Thursday, June 29th, at 10 AM local time. The general public can secure their tickets from Friday, June 30th, at 10 AM local time, available at theater box offices, TICKETMASTER, and TICKETERA. The "Volver a Casa" tour presents a unique opportunity to witness a salsa legend perform his greatest hits, promising to be a musical journey not to be missed.
