"Argentina 1985" has been nominated for an Oscar in the Best Foreign Language Film category. The film's soundtrack, an original Prime Video production, includes 20 songs produced by the renowned composer of music for films and television, Pedro Osuna. Osuna has previously worked on notable productions such as The Legend Hunters Marvel's, Thor: Love and Thunder, Pixar's Lightyear, and 007: No Time To Die. The film, which premiered at the 79th Venice International Film Festival, received a heartfelt and extensive ovation. It also won the Golden Globe Award in January of this year. Argentina, 1985 is based on the true story of prosecutors Julio Strasser and Luis Moreno Ocampo, who in 1985, courageously prosecuted the bloodiest military dictatorship in Argentina's history.

The soundtrack's lead song, "Nunca Más", was co-written and co-produced by Pedro Osuna (general producer), Victoria Alonso (President of physical production, post-production, visual effects, and animation at Marvel Studios), Rafa Arcaute (composer, producer, and multiple Latin GRAMMY® and GRAMMY® winner), and Kany García (six-time Latin GRAMMY® winner) who also performed the song.

Argentina, 1985 was officially selected for the 79th Venice International Film Festival and was the selected film to represent Argentina at the Goya Awards 2023, scheduled for February 2023.

The awards ceremony for the Oscars will take place on Sunday, March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
