The Miami Open presented by Itaú has announced a new concert series during the final Friday and Saturday of the tournament. The "The Final Set presented by Stella Artois" concert series will feature Cimafunk, an Afro-Cuban Grammy nominated funk artist, and legendary R&B group Kool & the Gang. Cimafunk will kick off the festivities on Friday, March 31 with his electric Afro beats. On Saturday, April 1, Kool & the Gang will bring their classic hits to Hard Rock Stadium. Fans who purchase tickets to Sessions 22 and 23 will be treated to the concert immediately following the conclusion of play or trophy presentation each day.

The Miami Open presented by Itaú will take place Sunday, March 19 through Sunday, April 2. With the addition of a Sunday start this year and the announcement of this epic concert series, the Miami Open will be the premiere event to celebrate both world-class tennis and entertainment. Attendees will be able to enjoy the Hard Rock Stadium grounds’ extended hours at all on-site restaurants, lounges, shops, and hospitality locations while taking in the amazing music from legendary artists.

The Men’s Doubles Finals will commence on Saturday (Session 23) at 12:30 pm, followed by the Women’s Finals starting not before 3:00 pm. Doors and parking for ticketholders will remain open from 11 am onward. The schedule for Friday (Session 22) remains the same.

“The Miami Open has always been well known for mixing world-class tennis and entertainment,” said Miami Open Tournament Director James Blake. “Since moving the tournament to Hard Rock Stadium in 2019 we’ve taken both the tennis, and the food, beverage and entertainment to the next level. This concert series is the next step in showing our attendees we remain committed to continuing to evolve the tournament to create the best experience possible for them.”
“We’re excited to expand our partnership with the Miami Open,” said Matt Davis, the Head of U.S. Sports Marketing for Anheuser-Busch. “The tournament is one of the most respected tournaments in the world, and it’s exciting to see how fans are getting to experience so much more than just elite tennis. We’re thrilled that Stella Artois now has the opportunity to bring new experiences to fans with the addition of The Final Set presented by Stella Artois.”

Cimafunk, a Grammy-nominated Afro-Cuban rockstar, is known for his innovative mixes of funk, afrobeat, and hip hop. His music subverts classical Cuban rhythms, and he has received overwhelming praise touring the U.S. and Europe. Cimafunk and his 9-person band from Havana, La Tribu, are great showmen, and their live shows are unforgettable. Cimafunk's latest album, El Alimento, was nominated at the 2023 Grammy Awards for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album.

Kool & the Gang has been a mainstay in music for more than five decades. The band has inspired multiple generations of artists and has earned two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 25 Top Ten R&B hits, nine Top Ten Pop hits, 31 gold and platinum albums. In 2021, their party anthem Celebration was added to the Library of Congress National Recording Registry.

The Miami Open presented by Itaú will be bigger and better than ever before in 2023. Guests will enjoy the best that Miami has to offer, including amazing culinary options, music, and artwork by top local artists. The Stadium Court within Hard Rock Stadium returns, and the revamped site will include new infrastructure and more green space where fans can relax when taking a break from the great tennis action.
