On Monday, January 8, 2024, an exclusive fashion and art charity event titled "The Art of Giving Back" will take place in the Miami Design District. This event is a collaboration between Miami Dolphins linebacker Jaelan Phillips, Dolphins Challenge Cancer (DCC), GALLERY DEPT., and the Miami Design District, showcasing a unique blend of fashion, art, and philanthropy.

The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. at 3930 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33137, in the heart of the Miami Design District. The evening's program will start at 7:15 p.m., following a media interview session at 7:00 p.m. Attendees will have access to the GALLERY DEPT. Showroom starting at 7:30 p.m.

Collaboration for a Cause

Jaelan Phillips, a key member of the Dolphins Challenge Cancer Board, is joined by his Miami Dolphins teammates, all styled by GALLERY DEPT. The event will unveil the DCC Team Miami Design District jersey, featuring artwork by Bisa Butler. Guests can look forward to a silent auction and live entertainment provided by DJ Spinderella.

Supporting Cancer Research

The Art of Giving Back is part of a year-round initiative by the DCC and Miami Dolphins to aid those affected by cancer. All proceeds from this event will be directed towards groundbreaking research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Additionally, the DCC is organizing its annual ride and run/walk event, DCC XIV, on February 24, 2024, at Hard Rock Stadium.
