LADY - World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award for Acting Ensemble
Written and directed by Olive Nwosu, LADY takes place in the sprawling African metropolis of Lagos, where a fiercely independent young cab driver meets a band of radiantly reckless sex workers whose sisterhood pulls her into danger and joy, setting her on a journey toward her own transformation.
The 96-minute drama features Jessica Gabriel's Ujah, Amanda Oruh, Tinuade Jemiseye, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Seun Kuti, and Bucci Franklin. The film is produced by Alex Polunin, John Giwa-Amu, and Stella Nwimo.
LADY has one remaining festival screening on Friday, January 30 at 5:20 PM at Redstone 3, and is available to watch on the online platform.

THE INCOMER - NEXT Innovator Award
Written and directed by Louis Paxton, THE INCOMER is set on a remote Scottish island, where two siblings live by hunting seabirds, retelling the stories of their ancestors, and defending the isle from dreaded and dangerous "incomers." Their world is upended with the arrival of an awkward council worker who comes to uproot them from their homeland.
The 101-minute comedy stars Domhnall Gleeson, Gayle Rankin, Grant O'Rourke, Emun Elliott, Michelle Gomez, and John Hannah. The film is produced by Shirley O'Connor and Emily Gotto.
THE INCOMER has one remaining festival screening on Saturday, January 31 at 8:45 PM at Library Theatre, and is available to watch on the online platform.

CRISIS ACTOR - Short Film Jury Award: U.S. Fiction
Written and directed by Lily Platt, CRISIS ACTOR follows an impulsive actress who, fired from her day job, crashes a support group and spirals into a chaotic night that forces her to face her addiction to drama.
The 13-minute drama stars Sarah Steele and Philip Ettinger. The film is produced by Sophie Seyd, Lily Platt, Alex Bendo, and Lexi Preiser.
CRISIS ACTOR has two remaining festival screenings: Saturday, January 31 at 9:00 PM at Broadway Centre Cinemas 6, and Sunday, February 1 at 3:15 PM at Holiday 3 (Open Captions).
