Women in Music, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is thrilled to announce the addition of new Advisory Board members and Ambassadors. This expansion reflects their ongoing commitment to advancing equality, visibility, and opportunities for women in the music industry through education, support, empowerment, and recognition.

Introducing the 2023 WIM Ambassadors:

Rapsody - A true outlier in the saturated world of music and entertainment, Rapsody has captivated fans with her detailed and nutritious rhymes. The Snow Hill, North Carolina native has made waves alongside esteemed artists like Kendrick Lamar and Black Thought, solidifying her position as an exceptional talent. Rapsody's accolades include being named one of the 20 Greatest Female Rappers of All Time by XXL and earning the title of "Lyricist of the Year" at the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards. As a 4-time Grammy Award winner, she remains actively involved in philanthropy, social justice, and empowerment initiatives.

Faryal Khan-Thompson - Joining CD Baby as the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Community Engagement, Faryal brings her expertise in international growth strategy and artist education. With a passion for creating a diverse music ecosystem and more opportunities for women and BIPOC communities, she is honored to become an Ambassador for Women in Music and drive this critical agenda forward.

Amy Davidman - With over 20 years of experience in the music business, Amy is a seasoned agent who has made her mark representing artists across genres. As a founding partner of TBA, an independent agency, she has been recognized as part of a new era in agency representation. Amy's dedication to supporting women in the industry is evident through her involvement in empowering initiatives, panels, and discussions focused on creating a safe and inclusive live music environment.

Dina Marto - Dina's entrepreneurial journey spans over 20 years, during which she shattered glass ceilings as a music executive and small business owner. Her Atlanta-based Twelve Music & Studios has become a creative hub for developing talent and producing chart-topping hits. Alongside managing superstar Tip "T.I." Harris and co-launching the empowering all-women-led management agency C & D The Agency, Dina remains committed to empowering women leaders and executives.

Adriana Arce - Born and raised in Miami, Adriana is the Vice President at REBEL, where she manages renowned artists such as Lil Nas X. Her background as a full-time artist and musician, combined with her involvement in Forbes Magazine's 30 Under 30, showcases her dedication to providing more opportunities for women and minority individuals across the entertainment industry.

Women in Music continues to empower women across the music industry, providing a supportive community for sharing knowledge, seeking advice, and fostering growth. As these new Advisory Board and Ambassador members join the organization, Women in Music amplifies its mission to create a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
