In the film, audiences are introduced to Beckett, a spoiled cat who lives with his devoted owner, Rose. The pleasant life they lead unexpectedly changes when Rose's former partner, Larry, reappears in the picture. Disapproving Larry, Beckett upholds that only one of them—and that one person only—can remain. "10 Lives" stands out as a unique and inventive offering as it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 20th. The protagonist of the tale is Beckett, a conceited cat who longs to go back to his lavish life with Rose after irresponsibly losing his ninth life. He is given a second opportunity by the Gatekeeper of Pet Heaven, who gives him a fresh set of lives. However, Beckett is unaware that each existence will bring with it special shapes and important lessons. With a voice cast that includes Mo Gilligan, Simone Ashley, Dylan Llewellyn, and Zayn Malik "10 Lives" is sure to be a new family favorite.
