CHINA GRILL RETURNS TO MIAMI AT BAL HARBOUR SHOPS

This legendary Chinese-inspired restaurant has reincarnated in Miami with a new residence on the ground floor of the swanky Bal Harbour Shops. The new dimly lit, gold-accented China Grill features an impressive custom globe like ceiling mounted light fixature, and  a covered outdoor dining terrace.

The menu, designed for sharing, brings back guest favorites, including Crispy Spinach, Lamb Spare Ribs, and their signature Peking Duck. Rich and savory, the delectable duck arrives pre-sliced and is served with hoisin sauce and thin Mandarin pancakes.

The new menu also offers a selection of Dim Sum, including steaming Gilded Dumplings, filled with miso black and gold cod, and Crispy Shrimp & Mango Beggar’s Purses served with sweet chili sauce.

Vegan mushroom pasta, hard sharing.

For a heartier option, the Wild Mushroom Profusion Pasta is a standout among the Large Plates. This vegan dish combines mushrooms with a creamy sake and Madeira sauce, creating a savory preparation with a hint of spice. While the menu encourages sharing, this pasta may be difficult to pass around.

Dessert is worth saving room for. The restaurant’s soufflés arrive light and airy, with a choice of sauces. The Mexican Chocolate sauce is a favorite, poured tableside over the freshly baked dessert for a warm finish with a hint of spice.

Another memorable option is the Banana-in-a-Box, which combines caramelized bananas and pastry cream inside a crisp, box-shaped tuile shell. At the table, the server breaks through the delicate shell with a large spoon, revealing the sweet filling inside and making the dessert easy to enjoy.

Familiar flavors, shareable, shopper-friendly.

With its returning favorites, new menu additions, and tableside presentations, China Grill offers a dining experience that balances familiar flavors with a few creative surprises. The shareable menu makes it well suited to a meal with friends or family, while the inviting setting adds to the experience. Located inside Bal Harbour Shops, it provides a dining option for shoppers and food lovers looking to enjoy a leisurely meal that extends beyond the usual shopping experience.
