If you still think kosher dining means matzo ball soup under fluorescent lighting, you’ve been living under a very bland rock.
Enter Maison Ostrow, the bold new French-Mediterranean kitchen & bar by Paris-born chef Olivia Ostrow — the same culinary provocateur who disrupted Miami's kosher dining scene with Ostrow Brasserie. This time, she's dialed the volume all the way up with a space that feels more like a Côte d'Azur fashion shoot than a restaurant.
And yes, it’s certified kosher by the ORB — but don’t expect the usual suspects. This is kosher through a Parisian lens, seasoned with style and absolutely no interest in playing it safe.
Tucked in North Bay Village with views of Biscayne Bay and a terrace practically begging for someone to launch a lifestyle brand on it, Maison Ostrow is everything Olivia promised: bigger, louder, and infused with a kind of glamorous chaos that only works because she’s behind it. The 3,500-square-foot space is full of soft stone, deep greens, gold accents, and enough art to start your own gallery.

Then there’s the food — which is kind of the point, right?
Olivia’s menu throws subtlety out the window. We’re talking:
- Ora King Salmon Carpaccio with citrus and truffle
- Tuna Tartare on Brioche, topped with quail egg and caviar (hello, drama)
- Cod Beignets that are so crisp you can hear them before you taste them
- Dry-aged Steaks, Grilled Whole Fish, Fresh Pastas, and a Bread and Butter service that feels like a personal love letter from the Mediterranean
And yes, it all happens without breaking a single kosher rule — just most of the aesthetic ones.
Also in the kitchen: Chef Christophe Bibard, French fine dining veteran and former Top Chef Europe finalist, who previously cooked alongside Olivia at Ostrow Brasserie. The duo is clearly in sync again — and this time they’re swinging harder.
On the beverage side, things are just as ambitious. The cocktail menu leans French-Med with a twist — lavender Negroni, saffron gin and tonic, house infusions, and non-alcoholic options that feel anything but boring. The wine list, like the food, prefers coastal elegance over clichés. Mediterranean and natural labels take center stage.

But Maison Ostrow isn’t just here for dinner. It’s launching:
- A Rotating Chef’s Tasting Menu with seasonal pairings
- Full-service Kosher Catering for people who want events that actually taste like something
- An Épicerie with vegan butters and sauces, because even your fridge should have a bit of attitude
Lunch, happy hour, and dinner are already on the books. Brunch comes later, but we all know in Miami that’s when the real chaos begins.
Maison Ostrow is not trying to “fit into” kosher dining. It’s re-writing the menu, restyling the space, and giving the whole scene a much-needed kick in the pants. If you’re ready to stop settling for safe and start expecting flavor, art, and just a little scandal with your sea bass — you’ll want a reservation.
Just don’t show up in cargo shorts. Olivia’s kitchen deserves better.
