The Miami Design District was the place to be on May 9 and 10 as LAFS CircuIT returned with a two-day event that blended fashion, food, music, and movement—all curated with Mother’s Day in mind. Hosted at the stylish Picadilly Courtyard, the free and public event drew both locals and visitors to explore elevated brand activations and creative experiences.
It was more than a shopping stop. From designer previews to wellness sessions, the event offered a chance to discover thoughtful gifts, try something new, and just enjoy the weekend in one of Miami’s most creative neighborhoods.

Fashion First: Exclusive Previews from Manolo Blahnik and PatBO
LAFS CircuIT kicked off a day early with a private event on May 8 inside Manolo Blahnik, where select guests got a first look at new designs in an intimate setting. On May 9, Brazilian fashion label PatBO hosted its own in-store gathering, giving attendees a personalized view of its latest collection. These high-style previews offered a rare opportunity for fans of fashion to connect with brands beyond the usual showroom visit.
Sweet Touches with Chef Ana Parra
For those with a sweet tooth (or just looking for a unique activity), pastry chef Ana Parra led hands-on workshops in cookie decorating and cake pop bouquet making across both days. It was interactive, fun, and a creative way for guests to make something personal for mom—or themselves.
Meanwhile, frozen treat brand Pop Love served up handmade paletas during the afternoon hours, bringing families and friends together over a refreshing break between shopping and sessions.
Movement and Mindfulness, Miami Style
On the morning of May 10, wellness promoter Nati Botero led a group in a morning workout session surrounded by palm trees and city energy. It was designed to be approachable and energizing, setting the tone for a day full of activity and positive vibes.
Flavor Highlights: LALO Tequila and Fiesta on Tap
As the sun dipped lower, LALO Tequila stepped in with tastings of its premium tequila made from mature Highland agave and fermented with Champagne yeast. Founded by Eduardo “Lalo” González and David “R” Carballido, the brand brought not just flavor, but also tradition and story to the happy hour sessions, which were paired with a DJ set from 5 to 7 PM on both event days.
Fiesta on Tap added to the beverage scene with their cold brew and strawberry matcha lattes—perfect for sipping between stops and keeping energy up for a full day of exploring.
A Creative Mix of Style and Community
LAFS CircuIT’s appeal came from more than just the names involved. The event was crafted to bring people together—whether you were shopping for Mother’s Day, enjoying the food and music, or just spending time outdoors with friends. It gave space for local flavor and international flair to exist in one place, offering a weekend full of color, creativity, and connection.
