Louis Vuitton Expands Le Damier Jewelry Collection with Pink Gold

Louis Vuitton's Le Damier jewelry collection is expanding with pink gold pieces, adding a third metal option alongside the existing yellow and white gold designs. The collection, which first launched in 2024, takes design cues from the brand's signature Damier checkerboard pattern through a combination of gold squares and diamonds.

The 2025 additions include rings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, and earrings, all featuring the new pink gold finish. This expansion centers on giving wearers more options for mixing, matching, and layering pieces across different metal tones.

Geometric design, diamond accents, flexibility.

Design Details That Stand Out

Each piece features round diamonds set in slightly angled squares with four-grain settings. A geometric central line runs through the designs, creating sharp contrast against the curved forms. The collection borrows construction techniques from watchmaking, particularly in how bracelets and necklaces are assembled.

Links are hand-polished and manually assembled, with deliberate gaps left between each one to improve flexibility and comfort. The clasps blend into the overall design rather than standing out as separate elements, making pieces feel lighter and move more naturally against the skin.

Expanded jewelry collection with versatile options.

Expanded Range

The necklace category sees the biggest expansion, with three new width options: a 3.5mm pink gold version joins a 5mm yellow gold style and a 7mm white gold design. These additions allow wearers to layer multiple widths and finishes together.

Pink gold enters the ring lineup through two different width options, designed to coordinate with the seven existing ring styles. Two new bracelets join the collection: a slim 3.5mm pink gold version and a larger 5mm white gold design, bringing the total bracelet options to five.

The earring selection grows with a new single-hoop style available in all three gold finishes, meant to complement the collection's existing larger design. The round diamond-studded pendant now comes in pink and white gold in addition to the original yellow gold version.

Everyday wearability with versatile combinations.

Built for Everyday Wear

While the collection uses diamonds and precious metals, the design approach leans toward everyday wearability rather than special-occasion-only pieces. The pieces are marketed as unisex, with sizing and proportions that work across different body types and style preferences.

Most luxury jewelry collections stick to one metal per piece or offer simple two-tone combinations. Le Damier pushes the mixing concept further by designing an entire range where different metals, widths, and styles are meant to be combined freely. The checkerboard pattern creates visual consistency across pieces even when the metals differ.

This approach gives wearers more control over how they build their collection over time, adding pieces gradually and experimenting with different combinations as preferences shift.

Availability

The collection will be available at Louis Vuitton stores and through the brand's website. This expansion fits into Louis Vuitton's ongoing push into fine jewelry as a serious category, building out offerings that reference their heritage while using high-quality materials and construction techniques.
