Miami's most glamorous horse racing event is getting a fashionable head start. The Pegasus World Cup presented by 1/ST launches its 10th anniversary celebration with the Off To The Races Fashion Show on Wednesday, January 14th at Bal Harbour Shops. This pre-race tradition brings together high fashion, racing culture, and charitable giving in one of South Florida's most exclusive retail destinations.
Fashion Meets Philanthropy
Presented by Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour in collaboration with Bal Harbour Shops, the fashion show offers guests an up-close look at curated race day looks from Neiman Marcus collections. The runway presentation will showcase the kind of sophisticated style that defines Pegasus World Cup's trackside scene, and guests won't have to wait long to make these looks their own. After the show wraps, attendees can purchase pieces directly off the runway.
The event supports Style Saves, an official charitable partner of the Pegasus World Cup that provides underprivileged students with essential school supplies. This partnership reinforces the Pegasus World Cup's commitment to making an impact beyond the racetrack, combining Miami's love of fashion with meaningful community support.
A Star-Studded Host Committee
Belinda Stronach, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 1/ST (the owner and operator of Gulfstream Park, home of the Pegasus World Cup), will be in attendance. She'll be joined by this year's Off To The Races host committee, a lineup of Miami's fashion and social scene fixtures including Ashley Taylor Arguello, Verky Baldonado, Kiki Barth, Shea Curtin, Isabela Grutman, Erin Newberg, Marysol Patton, Lorena Perozo, Elizabeth Resnick, Morgan Shara, Alexa Shear, Dana Shear, Vita Sidorkina-Morabito, Lydia Touzet, and Suzy Buckley Woodward.
The Main Event: 10 Years of the Pegasus World Cup
The fashion show sets the stage for the main attraction. The Pegasus World Cup celebrates its 10-year anniversary on Saturday, January 24th at Gulfstream Park, featuring three major races with serious prize money on the line.
The day includes the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Championship Invitational (GI), the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Championship Turf Invitational (GI), and the $500,000 Pegasus World Cup Filly & Mare Turf Invitational (GII). These aren't just big paydays for the winners, they're some of the most competitive races in American thoroughbred racing.
How to Experience It
For those interested in attending the fashion show, it takes place at Bal Harbour Shops, located at 9700 Collins Ave, Bal Harbour, FL 33154.
Race day tickets start at $176 and can be purchased at pegasusworldcup.com. For a more elevated experience, VIP Tables and Private Suites are available by contacting [email protected].
