Realscreen Summit and NATPE Global Join Forces in Miami for 2025

In a groundbreaking move, two of the entertainment industry’s leading events—Realscreen Summit and NATPE Global—will converge for the first time at the InterContinental Miami hotel from February 3-7, 2025. The co-location of these powerhouse conferences offers an unmatched opportunity for media professionals to network, pitch, and explore growth strategies across both unscripted and content marketplaces.

Realscreen Summit, known as the world's premier event for non-fiction content, will take place from February 3-5, followed by NATPE Global’s program from February 5-7. A crossover day on February 5 will bridge the two events, fostering deeper collaboration between producers, distributors, and buyers.

Brunico Communications, the parent company behind both events, designed this collaboration to meet growing industry demand for a more comprehensive marketplace. According to Brunico CEO Russell Goldstein, “Clients and buyers alike have asked for a single market that meets the full scope of their business needs across their organizations. In response, we’re creating the most comprehensive North American-based content market available.”

Highlights

Industry-leading executives will headline the 2025 event. Roku's Head of Content, David Eilenberg, will deliver a keynote on the crossover day, focusing on the evolution of content strategy, brand partnerships, and technology in an increasingly data-driven media landscape. Earlier in the week, Jason Sarlanis, President of various networks under Warner Bros. Discovery, including TNT and Discovery’s true crime portfolio, will open Realscreen Summit with insights on industry trends, how to create buzzworthy programming, and where future growth opportunities lie.

Mary Maddever, EVP of Realscreen and Executive Content Director for NATPE Global, emphasized the forward-looking nature of the 2025 program: “The focus will be on understanding how current shifts—such as streaming dominance, tech innovation, and ad revenue changes—will reshape the media landscape in the next five years.”

A Perfect Match for the Industry

The strategic alignment of these events will streamline participation, helping companies engage across both the unscripted and broader content ecosystems. Realscreen Summit, which draws top non-fiction executives and producers, complements NATPE’s wide-ranging content marketplace, which attracts global buyers from North America, Latin America, and Europe. Claire Macdonald, Executive Director of NATPE, explained, “This collaboration provides an exceptional forum to maximize commercial opportunities across both finished content and project commissioning.”

Participants can look forward to signature formats, such as Realscreen’s “30 Minutes With Programmers” series and NATPE’s popular “Streaming+” strand. This combination of events promises not only efficient networking and deal-making but also a lens into the future of media—centered on what to expect by 2030.

With both conferences maintaining distinct programming yet allowing seamless access, attendees will enjoy the best of both worlds. The co-located format offers unparalleled value, particularly in today’s evolving media environment, making Miami the ultimate destination for content professionals in early 2025.
