RIMAS MUSIC TAKES THE TOP HONORS AT THE 2023 SME DIGITAL AWARDS

Rimas Music, the independent record label, emerged as the top winner at the latest SME Digital Awards, receiving four gold awards in recognition of their exceptional creativity and execution in the marketing campaigns for Bad Bunny's internationally acclaimed album, "Un Verano Sin Ti."

The esteemed event, organized by the Sales and Marketing Executives Association (SME), aims to acknowledge excellence in the digital sphere, evaluating criteria such as strategy, originality, execution, and results. Rimas Music triumphed in the categories of "Best In Show," "Branded Audio Content," "Branded Video Content," and "Social Responsibility."

"We are deeply honored by these accolades, which symbolize the exceptional marketing talent present on the island," stated Mónica Jiménez, Director of Marketing and Brand Relations at Rimas. "Passion, creativity, and unwavering commitment have been crucial in bringing the artist's visionary album to life, forging a profound connection with the fans. We will continue to work with the same determination to further the success of all our artists."

The award in the "Branded Audio Content" category recognized the "Un Verano Sin Ti x Clasificados Online" campaign. This innovative strategy allowed fans to enjoy a sneak peek of the song "Un Ratito" through a phone call. To access the exclusive content, followers had to dial the number published by the artist in an advertisement where he was selling his Bugatti.

Undoubtedly, the acclaimed video documentary, "El Apagón: Aquí Vive Gente," emerged as the shining star of the night, earning gold in the categories of "Branded Video Content" and "Social Responsibility," along with the prestigious "Best In Show" award bestowed by the event's jury. Directed by the renowned Kacho López and produced by Sigfredo Bellaflores, this documentary sheds light on the challenges faced by Puerto Rico, including laws 20 and 22 (incentives for investors), beach displacement, and the fragility of the island's power grid infrastructure.

Both campaigns exceptionally captured Bad Bunny's unique and distinctive vision. The creative and innovative strategies, executed by Rimas Music's internal marketing team led by Mónica Jiménez, showcased their imaginative prowess and offered unparalleled experiences to the artist's devoted followers.
