On June 1st, Syrena Swimwear teamed up with the VoLo Foundation to present “Walk for Wildlife,” an eco-conscious runway show at Paraiso Miami Beach. The event combined fashion and environmental activism to spotlight the pressing need for wildlife preservation and climate awareness.

Fashion Meets Conservation

Hosted at a leading venue for swimwear innovation, the show went beyond showcasing design. It emphasized sustainability by featuring swimwear made from recycled materials and animal-inspired prints representing endangered species. The collection reflected Syrena’s dedication to ethical fashion and the VoLo Foundation’s focus on accelerating positive change for the planet.

Celebrity Models with a Message

Two notable models walked the runway:

  • Yohana Vargas, a respected TV host and environmental advocate
  • Pao Ruiz, a popular TikTok influencer known for bold content and social impact

Their presence helped amplify the message, blending star power with environmental urgency.

A Visual Call to Action

The runway experience was designed to provoke thought about humanity’s impact on wildlife and ecosystems. The show invited attendees to consider their role in conservation while appreciating nature’s beauty through sustainable fashion.

Voices Behind the Cause

Mila Miskovic, designer of Syrena Swimwear, said, “We believe in fashion with a purpose. This show was a celebration of nature’s beauty and a reminder that protecting wildlife isn’t just a cause — it’s a responsibility.” Thais Lopez Vogel, CFO of VoLo Foundation, emphasized the partnership’s importance in linking fashion with sustainability and scientific advocacy.
