The Mercado at Tequila Town in Miami is hosting a special, high-energy Cinco De Mayo celebration on May 5th complete with market stalls, a cantina bar, taco truck, roving Marachis, and an outdoor patio for live performances and salsa dancing.

The event also marks the final day to experience the immersive pop-up Tequila Town Miami, which traces the full lifecycle of agave while celebrating the artistry, people, and purpose behind tequila production. Tequila Town Miami serves as a tribute to the real-life Jose Cuervo Express Train, which transports visitors to the distillery, La Rojeña Distillery, in Tequila, Mexico.

Rooted in reverence for Mexican culture and the history of tequila-making, Tequila Town Miami features 10 immersive storytelling spaces, including four sip rooms—some hidden behind secret doorways. Each sip room offers a complimentary tequila tasting paired with botanas (snacks), along with a signature cocktail available for purchase from brands within the Jose Cuervo portfolio, such as 1800 Tequila, Maestro Dobel, and Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia.

On Cinco de Mayo, guests can “drink and eat through Mexico” at the Mercado-style celebration by visiting eight different bars, each featuring its own cocktail and food pairing. The evening includes live mariachi and DJ mashups, dancers, roaming performers, and interactive experiences like a build-your-own margarita station—all designed for a fully immersive night out.
Tickets for the celebration start at $45. Tequila Town Miami is located at Toledo Studios (4710 NW 37th Ave, Miami).
