Marking a milestone in his fast-growing career, Trueno was recognized with a nomination for the 2022 Latin GRAMMY® Awards for the first time ever under the “Best Rap/ Hip Hop Song” category for his hit “DANCE CRIP.” Soon after his nomination, Trueno teamed up with the Atlanta-based rapper, J.I.D, for the groundbreaking release of “LO TENGO.” Two worlds apart, the artists came together to put hip hop at the forefront for this global hit – proving that Trueno’s "family hip hop" approach is resonating from all over the continent and beyond the Atlantic.

With his unique flow and musical dexterity, Trueno has continuously demonstrated that everything he touches turns into gold. In October, the NFL and NEON16 partnered up for the first-ever Por La Cultura Mixtape Volume 1, tapping the Argentine prodigy for his signature touch on the playlist. Trueno contributed an exclusive track for the mixtape, “Quién Si No,” produced by Tatool. Before they worked together, fans of both artists were able to hear "TIERRA ZANTA," Trueno's breakout hit, on EA Sports' highly-anticipated FIFA 23 Soundtrack.

At the beginning of the year, Trueno and award-winning superstar J Balvin shared a watershed moment with the release of their collaborative single "UN PASO," which fuses the strengths of Argentina and Colombia. This song demonstrates Trueno's remarkable versatility as an artist, allowing him to successfully perform in a wide variety of musical styles. At the NFL Kickoff Experience, which marked the beginning of the 2022 NFL season, J Balvin invited Trueno on stage to perform a stunning rendition of their super hit.

Trueno welcomed in the new year by kicking off his world tour, performing to record crowds at both the Lollapalooza Chile and Vive Latino Mexico festivals. More than 60,000 people at the Quilmes Rock Festival in April were captivated by Trueno's performance, which featured a setlist full of hits. The 20-year-old singer also recorded a unique duet with the legendary English band Gorillaz, covering their song "Clint Eastwood."

His subsequent BIEN O MAL World Tour, which included stops in major cities like London, Madrid, Monterrey, Mexico City, and many more, was also a huge success and took him all over Mexico, Europe, and Latin America. Trueno toured Spain all summer long, performing at festivals like Maleducats, Calafell Beach Festival, Mallorca Live Festival, Cruilla, Boombastic, and Festival Madrid Salvaje. The long-awaited arrival of the Argentine genius's second studio album, BIEN O MAL, was the catalyst for a phenomenal 12 months. Trueno's album BIEN O MAL is conceptually structured, with its themes divided along two axes that correspond to the polarity between good and evil. Trueno, who has only 20 years left to live, takes us on a journey under the banner "from protest to celebration," in which he shares his own critical and inspiring vision of the world as it is today. There's no doubt that Trueno's everlasting impact has left everyone everywhere craving more. His fanbase is skyrocketing all over the world. We speculate on what the Argentine hip-hop virtuoso Trueno may be planning next and whether or not the world is prepared for it.
