Paloma Morphy arrived at Tecate Pa'l Norte 2026 as a Latin GRAMMY winner, and she left as one of the festival's most talked-about names of the weekend.
The Mexican singer-songwriter, who took home Best New Artist at the 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, made her debut at Parque Fundidora in Monterrey with three separate appearances across the festival's stages. Not one set. Three. Each one different, and each one adding another layer to a breakthrough moment that's clearly still building.

Three Sets, Three Different Stages
Paloma opened her festival run on Friday, March 27, on the Acústico Hey Banco stage, performing songs from her catalog alongside the live debut of her new single "qué ves en mí?". She brought collaborator EMJAY out to perform the track together, making it the first time that song had been heard live anywhere.
Saturday brought a different kind of moment. Paloma shared the Entre Cheves y Compas stage with Macario Martínez, the huapango folk-rock artist who has become one of the more compelling figures in the current regional Mexican music conversation. That set drew some of the festival's most enthusiastic reactions of the weekend, which says something given the size of the Pa'l Norte lineup.
She closed Saturday with an appearance at the Guitarrazos, the cultural showcase that has become a full phenomenon of its own within regional Mexican music. At this year's Pa'l Norte, Guitarrazos earned a dedicated stage, a sign of how far its profile has grown. Paloma closing out her festival run on that stage placed her squarely within the tradition she's drawing from, while her Latin GRAMMY win signals how far that tradition is traveling.

The New Music
The Pa'l Norte weekend also served as the backdrop for Paloma's first new music since winning at the Latin GRAMMYs. She released a double single: "qué ves en mí?" featuring EMJAY, and "interesante," two tracks that mark the opening of whatever comes next in her catalog. The live debut of "qué ves en mí?" at the Acústico stage gave the Monterrey crowd a first look at where she's headed.
The Tour
Before leaving the festival, Paloma announced her first Mexico headline tour, with three dates across the country's major markets. Mexico City gets the show on August 29 at Auditorio BB. Monterrey follows on September 5 at Showcenter. Guadalajara closes the run on September 12 at C3 Stage.
Guadalajara tickets are already on sale. Mexico City went into Banamex presale on March 30, with general on-sale opening March 31. Monterrey general on-sale also opened March 31.
Announcing a headline tour from the stage of the festival where you just made your debut is a specific kind of confidence. Based on how the weekend went, it seems justified.
What's Coming Next
Beyond the Mexico dates, Paloma is also set to make her U.S. festival debut this summer at Lollapalooza, another first in a stretch of firsts that started with the Latin GRAMMY win and shows no sign of slowing down.
A year ago, Paloma Morphy was a new artist people were just beginning to pay attention to. Right now, she has a GRAMMY, a double single, a three-city headline tour, a Lollapalooza slot, and a Pa'l Norte debut that people are still talking about.
