AVEDA: Plant-Based Beauty
The spa uses products from AVEDA, a professional beauty company specializing in hair care, skin care, body care and professional hair color.
Founded in 1978, AVEDA was an early advocate for environmental responsibility, long before sustainable and plant-based beauty became more widely recognized.
Today, the company is a Certified B Corp™, and its product line is vegan and cruelty-free through certification by the Leaping Bunny program.
Many AVEDA products contain naturally derived ingredients sourced from plants, non-petroleum minerals and water. The brand also uses essential oils, including lavender, peppermint and ylang-ylang, to create its signature aromas.

The Palms AVEDA Spa offers services including aroma massages, botanical facials, warm-oil scalp massages and exfoliating body treatments.
For this visit, the Miami Spa Months ‘Journey Into Bliss’ experience was selected. The 50-minute personalized AVEDA aroma massage included hot stones and a hydrating collagen facial masque.
Before entering the treatment room, guests choose an AVEDA Composition Oil™ for use during the service. Options include Rosemary Mint, the citrus-based Stress-Fix™ blend and Shampure™, AVEDA's signature calming aroma. Shampure™ combines up to 25 plant essences to create the scent associated with many AVEDA spa experiences.
Enjoy the Spa Amenities
The spa's locker room includes private showers stocked with AVEDA bath and hair products. Guests also have access to a vanity area with towels, shower caps, combs and hair dryers.
Secure lockers are assigned for personal belongings, while robes and sandals are provided for use during the visit.
Guests can also spend time in the aroma steam room before a body treatment or after a facial.
Relax After the Treatment
After the service, the relaxation lounge and outdoor terrace provide a quiet place to continue the experience. The terrace includes a water feature, while the lounge offers comfortable seating, soft lighting and AVEDA's signature aroma.
Complimentary refreshments include fruit-infused cold water, hot herbal tea and fresh fruit.
The spa experience also includes full resort access from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., allowing guests to continue their day at the hotel's pool or on the beach.
