Grupo Frontera, a particularly gifted norteño ensemble that has topped two Billboard charts, including the Hot Latin Songs chart and the Billboard Hot 100, is rapidly ascending to the top. Their joint effort with Fuerza Regida, "Bebe Dame," debuted at number one this week on the Hot Latin Songs chart, demonstrating their influence in the music industry. A remarkable accomplishment for any musician, the Mexican ensemble also has three songs on the Billboard Hot 100, including "Bebe Dame," "Que Vuelvas" with Carin Leon, and "No Se Va." Grupo Frontera, which was founded in 2022 and is supported by Edgar Barrera's record company Borderkid Records, has been rising through the Latin music rankings ever since.
Grupo Frontera, made up of six men named Adelaido Sols, Julian Peña Jr., Alberto Acosta, Carlos Zamora, Carlos Guerrero, and Juan Javier Cantu, is revolutionizing the music industry with its upbeat norteño sound and personality. They are also setting records on YouTube and TikTok, among other social media platforms. Over 215 million people have viewed their "No Se Va" music video on YouTube, and they presently have over 16 million monthly Spotify listeners. A viral sound on TikTok was also created by their song "Que Vuelvas," which debuted at #15 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs list. The ensemble was recognized as a "Latin Artist on The Rise" by Billboard in December. These accomplishments collectively portend a bright future for the Mexican group.
