Bomba Estéreo, the Colombian music stars, have teamed up with champeta sensation Kevin Florez and producer The Busy Twist to release "Romantica Champeta" - a new collaborative single. The song is a tribute to the famous Barranquilla Carnaval, and the official video for the song was filmed near Barranquilla and directed by Bomba’s Li Saumet with Jhoy Suarez.

The Barranquilla Carnival is a celebration of the diverse music and dance traditions of the region and is considered one of the most important cultural events in Latin America. For Bomba, particularly Li Saumet, the carnival is a vital moment in the calendar. "Romantica Champeta" honors Li's roots and encourages listeners to join in the festivities and feel the joy and colorful spirit of the party.

The release of "Romantica Champeta" follows Bomba Estéreo's recent collaboration with Bad Bunny on the "Ojitos Lindos" video. The video was directed by Bad Bunny's longtime collaborator, Stillz, and filmed in Los Angeles. "Ojitos Lindos" is featured on Bad Bunny's groundbreaking album 'Un Verano Sin Ti,' which won a GRAMMY for "Best Música Urbana Album."

"Tainy worked his magic to build 'Ojitos Lindos' with Benito’s vision and our Bomba essence," Li Saumet says. "Benito wanted a nice and pretty song so we worked together in the studio in Miami to make a nice and pretty song and I think the outcome accomplished that."

The release of "Romantica Champeta" and the success of "Ojitos Lindos" come ahead of Bomba Estéreo's upcoming tour, which includes festival dates in Montreal's Osheaga, Seattle's Bumbershoot, and Los Angeles' Besame Mucho.
