The "Trato" track is built around a lighthearted R&B groove with captivating guitar melodies. Chicocurlyhead lays down slick and lively verses over an upbeat tempo, creating momentum towards the irresistible proposal, "Hacemo un trato" (Let's make a deal).
Of the track, Chicocurlyhead shares, “Trato is a song you can dedicate to that special someone. It’s a promise between you and your significant other. This song is very personal to me, but I also wrote it in a way that is identifiable to others. I wanted this song to essentially represent where I come from and how I see things from my point of view.”
The official video for "Trato" captures the rising star's authentic essence as Chicocurlyhead confidently performs his verses while having fun. The visuals align with the track's identity and ambiance, adopting a more minimalist and lively approach while exhibiting soft, mellow hues through the lens of a vintage film camera. The video was directed by Joedryell Velasquez (Joedyyrt).
