Latin pop sensation Lasso debuts his highly anticipated fourth studio album, "Eva"

Venezuelan singer-songwriter, Lasso, renowned for his global hit “Ojos Marrones,” has just released his fourth studio album, “Eva.” The album, which was produced by Orlando Vitto, features 12 songs and pays homage to women, with each track narrating a different stage in a romantic relationship. The album's cover art and individual singles' artwork were created by Mexican artist Carolina Pavia, and the album is expected to be released on vinyl in the coming months. Lasso worked with multiple talented songwriters on the lyrics for “Eva,” including Orlando Vitto, Renzo Bravo, Luis Jiménez, Agustín Zubillaga, Ale Alberti, Nevin Sastry, Daniel Rondón, Samantha Cámara, Valentina Rico, Joel, Ali Stone, and César Elster. Sonic Ranch was the location for the album's recording.

“Eva” includes Lasso's popular hits “Ojos Marrones,” “Ojos Marrones Remix” with Sebastián Yatra, “Corriendo con Tijeras,” and “Los Hombres Son Todos Iguales,” all of which blend pop and alternative genres, drawing from musical inspirations from the 70s and 80s. The album balances ballads, mid and up-tempo tracks and explores the different stages of a romantic relationship, from love as an addiction on “Yo-Yo,” to finding forever love on “Eva.” The bonus track, “Ojos Marrones Remix” featuring Sebastián Yatra, concludes the album.

With the release of “Eva,” Lasso showcases his maturing artistry with more sophisticated lyrics and sound. He has received multiple awards and nominations, including Premio Lo Nuestro for “Best New Artist Male,” and was named by Billboard® Magazine as “Latin Artist on the Rise” and as one of the “23 Latin & Spanish Artists to Watch in 2023.” Lasso is promoting his latest album in Madrid, Mexico, and the United States, cementing his status as one of the most important pop artists of our time.
