Madonna Announces Long-Rumored Release Veronica Electronica Out July 25

Madonna has officially announced Veronica Electronica, a long-rumored project featuring rare and unreleased remixes from her acclaimed Ray of Light album. Originally envisioned in 1998 as a remix companion, the project was shelved due to the massive success of the original album, which sold over 16 million copies and earned her four GRAMMY® Awards. Now, more than 25 years later, the concept is finally being realized with a new eight-track collection that includes newly edited remixes by Peter Rauhofer, William Orbit, Sasha, BT, and Victor Calderone, plus a previously unreleased demo of “Gone, Gone, Gone,” produced by Madonna and Rick Nowels.

Veronica Electronica arrives July 25 both digitally and on limited-edition silver vinyl as part of Madonna’s Silver Collection, a series of collectible reissues from her catalog. Fans who order the vinyl through Madonna.com or Rhino.com will receive an exclusive silver mylar lithograph. To mark the announcement, a remix of the deep cut “Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit)” is available to stream now.
