On the evening of February 19th, the Miami Design District (MDD) became the setting for a remarkable musical event. The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO), recognized as the Official Symphony Orchestra of the City of Miami, led by Maestro Eduardo Marturet, returned to the heart of the district for a spectacular community open-air concert. This event not only showcased classical music but also featured a diverse array of musical genres, creating an unforgettable experience for attendees.

The Evening's Musical Journey
The event commenced with an exhilarating performance by the legendary reggae group, The Wailers, setting the tone for a night of diverse musical offerings. NE 40th Street was closed to traffic, transforming into a grand stage for this vibrant celebration. The lineup included the multi-talented Carlos Camilo, who captivated the audience with his skills as an artist, pianist, and singer. Venezuelan Classical Guitarist Luis Quintero performed "Romantico" by American composer Karen LeFrak, adding a touch of classical elegance to the evening. Country Singer and Songwriter Eric Lee and Ana Villafañe, with her outstanding renditions of Gloria Estefan's hits, further enriched the concert's lineup, demonstrating the event's wide-ranging appeal.

A Collaborative Masterpiece
Produced in collaboration with the renowned musician and producer Emilio Estefan, and under the baton of Maestro Eduardo Marturet, the concert was a symphonic blend of genres that deeply resonated with the audience. This collaboration highlighted the power of music to unite diverse communities and genres, leaving a lasting impression on the Miami Design District as a cultural and communal hub.
A Gathering of Notables
The event attracted an array of notable guests, underscoring the Miami Design District's status as a focal point for cultural and social gatherings. Among the attendees were Dacra CEO and President Craig Robins and his wife, Turnberry Associates Chairman and CEO Jackie Soffer; Emilio Estefan and his wife, singer and actress Gloria Estefan; and former American football linebacker Andre Branch. The event also drew Raycliff Capital Founder and CEO Bippy Siegal, Fashion Stylist Elysze Held, Artist Iran Issa Khan, Interior Designer Sam Robin, TV personality Julia Alzate, Chairman and CEO of LeFrak Richard LeFrak with his wife and musical composer Karen LeFrak, actress Athina Marturet, and Lina Luaces Estefan with boyfriend Sean Salazar.
