Osvaldo Espino from FAME Magazine sits down with rising artist Gale to talk about her new single “Seria Cool” and her artistic evolution. Gale shares that Seria Cool is an emotional track about the struggle of trying to move on from someone—cutting your hair, traveling, doing everything to heal—yet still feeling that person in your heart. It's a stripped-down, sing-along ballad that marks a shift from her previous synth-pop releases.
Looking back, Gale says her first album was a deeply personal breakup project focused on self-love and healing. Her upcoming album, by contrast, is about fully embracing each moment, leading with the heart, and pushing her creative boundaries—blending emotional slow songs with high-energy beats and nostalgic dance-floor vibes.
One major milestone she reflects on is going from releasing a Shakira cover to opening for her in Colombia. Gale recounts their close working relationship, writing sessions in Miami and Barcelona, and contributing to songs like Copa Vacía and Puntería on Shakira’s album.
She also shares how a short trip to Puerto Rico helped her recharge before heading to Spain for a summer festival tour, where she'll debut new songs live. While the album title is still under wraps, Gale teases more exciting collaborations and surprises before the year is over.
