"Peligrosa" marks Mariah Angeliq's daring new release that highlights her fearless style

Miami's Princess, Mariah Angeliq, has released her latest single, "Peligrosa," which was inspired by her new perspective on what it means to be an independent woman. After achieving great success with "El Makinon" and undergoing significant personal growth, Mariah realized that her message did not always reflect her true feelings. "Peligrosa" stems from Mariah embracing a new version of herself as an independent woman and is a part of her women's empowerment era that embraces womanhood with all of its complexities. The song reflects the transformation and progress she has experienced as a woman.

"Peligrosa" was written by Mariah Angeliq, WHITESTAR, and ISAAC, and produced by LAURO. The song's central message is that love can cause pain and sorrow, but it is important to prioritize self-love. Mariah wants her fans to know that she has also experienced these challenges in relationships.

The video for the song was shot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and features Mariah as "LA TÓXICA," her alter ego, in a realistic situation that expresses her vulnerability. After a heated argument with her boyfriend, Mariah goes to a strip club to cool down with her exotic dancer friends, only to find out that her boyfriend is there. She takes matters into her own hands, disguises herself with a mask, and transforms into "Peligrosa." She dances for her boyfriend, who is unaware of her true identity, and reveals herself in the end.

“Peligrosa” is a tribute to all women and shows the true power that lies in self-love and choosing oneself above all else. As Mariah says, "I want my fans to know that I experience love problems like any other person, no matter how famous I am, being in love will always be a battle."

The release of "Peligrosa" is another testament to Mariah Angeliq's impressive talent. Her powerful and authentic voice continues to captivate her audience, and she surprises them with her constant artistic evolution. The sensitivity and emotion that Mariah conveys in "Peligrosa" is a testimony of her experiences, which she shares to inspire and connect with her audience.

Mariah recently joined Karol G on stage for a sold-out performance of "El Makinon" at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She also won a BMI award for the song. Mariah will perform at the Spring Break 2023 Festival in Rosarito Beach, Mexico, on April 7th, 2023, and she has an upcoming EP scheduled for release in May. Additionally, an announcement regarding her fourth European tour is coming soon. Stay tuned for more!
