Multi-talented singer and songwriter Leli Hernandez is kicking off a new era with her powerful and lush new single, "Salgo Bonita." Produced by Reggi el Auténtico and Piki, and co-written by Becca and Leli, this track marks her first release of 2023.

Over a bed of energetic beats and bass, Leli effortlessly shares the story of going out after a breakup, making it clear that "Salgo Bonita" is a song for women who have just come out of a relationship. The song empowers listeners to come out as their best selves and not stay crying or waiting for any man. "If God took that relationship away from you, it's because something better will come," says Leli about her new song.

Filmmaker Jessy Terrero directed the video, showcasing the dynamic collaboration between Leli, one of the most exciting up-and-coming acts in Latin music, and a legend of music videos. The video features fiery dance scenes, an invigorating hook, and lyrical swiftness, making "Salgo Bonita" poised to become a summer hit.

Speaking about the video's release, Leli said, I have been waiting for this song to come out because it is the biggest confidence booster; Salgo Bonita is very close to my heart. I wanted people to feel empowered after a breakup and be able to find themselves again. 

Prior to this release, Leli teamed up with a winning team of Reggi el Auténtico, Becca, and Robi Molina for the track "Nunca Le Bajo." Upon its release, Billboard hailed Leli as "a beacon of authenticity in Latin music to new generations," adding that "Leli brings a unique flow and liberating message." "Nunca Le Bajo" followed the empowering anthem "FU," in which Leli gave a voice to all women and urged them never to remain silent. Leli also composed the song "Piensas," which was part of the YouTube original series BRAVAS, produced and directed by Jessy Terrero.
