Renowned Cuban musician Roberto Fonseca released his electrifying new single "Mani Mambo" on April 27th, under the label Wagram Music. As a virtuoso pianist and former member of the legendary Cuban ensemble Buena Vista Social Club, Fonseca showcases his talent for blending traditional Afro-Caribbean piano melodies and vibrant mambo-inspired horn sections with a dynamic rock-steady rhythm and funky undertones. Adding to the captivating musical experience, Fonseca's powerful vocal stylings intensify the overall performance. "Together we will laugh, cry, and revel in the mystery and magic of the rhythms and melodies that stem from my roots," expresses Fonseca.

For over two decades, Fonseca has been a leading figure in Cuban music. He has released a series of acclaimed solo albums while collaborating with Buena Vista Social Club, touring alongside Ibrahim Ferrer (1927-2005), and serving as the musical director for Omara Portuondo's tours. His highly-praised album "Zamazu" in 2007 showcased his prowess as both a performer and composer, featuring the song "Llegó Cachaito" which was included in the 2008 film "Hancock" starring Will Smith. Fonseca's 2012 album "Yo" earned him a Grammy nomination and featured a collaboration with Malian star Fatoumata Diawara, with whom he embarked on a highly-acclaimed live collaboration and contributed to her latest album "London Ko." Fonseca's universally acclaimed album "Yesun" was released in 2019, further solidifying his musical legacy.
