Santa Claus arrived at Macy's Dadeland on Saturday, December 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as part of Macy's Santa Tour. Following the finale of the 99th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Santa traveled nationwide throughout December, visiting Macy's stores to spread holiday cheer to customers of all ages.
The Miami stop was part of a larger tour that brought Santa to select Macy's locations across the country during the 2025 holiday season. The event combined outdoor festivities with in-store activities designed for families.
Outdoor Arrival and Indoor Celebrations
Santa's grand arrival took place outside the store with live entertainment before moving indoors for the main celebrations. Once inside, customers participated in meet and greet photo opportunities with Santa, a holiday story time read-aloud, and a festive craft activity that benefited Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Additional festive activations were available throughout the event. Macy's positioned this as an all-ages experience, with activities designed to appeal to both children and adults looking to get into the holiday spirit.
Part of Macy's Holiday Programming
The Santa Tour was one component of Macy's Holiday Celebrations, which also included iconic window displays and tree lightings at various locations. The company marketed these events under the tagline "The most wonderful stories start at Macy's," positioning the retailer as a destination for holiday traditions beyond just shopping.
The Macy's Dadeland location is at 7303 N Kendall Drive in Miami, FL 33156.
