Teo, the talented Colombian singer-songwriter, will be featured in a compilation of songs called "Mega Mix" that will be a part of the well-known Zumba® Fitness created by Colombian choreographer and businessman Beto Perez, making people dance all around the world. The song "En Alta" is a rhythmic urban track that showcases the artist's versatility and will get everyone moving.
Teo wrote the song himself and recently performed successfully at the Viña del Mar Festival. The song takes it to a whole other level because of its catchy refrain which roughly translates to:
"She says she’s from the US, but she liked this latino. When she struts by the scent of her perfume lingers. And I say grrm, mami ay, your style. Let’s go on a movie ala Tarantino."
Teo's fans can enjoy the video of the song where the young Colombian recreates one of the most emblematic scenes of the cinematographer Tarantino cinematography in his classic "Pulp Fiction."
"En Alta" was written by Teo, Mery Hellen Urrego Franco, Nicolas Mantilla Schrader, and Otto Agustín Orjuela. Tom Norris, who has worked with other famous artists like Lady Gaga, Skrillex, Zedd, The Weeknd, Grimes, and more, served as the mixing engineer. Norris was recently nominated for a GRAMMY® Award for his work on a song by Sebastián Yatra & Rufus du Sol.
Teo also worked with DISHYPE, a Colombian DJ and producer duo made up of Otto Agustín Orjuela and Nicolás Mantilla Schrader (also known as Otto and Saki), who fuse electronic music with Latin American and Colombian rhythmic culture. The duo has worked with several well-known artists in the industry, including Teo for whom they produced this new single, "En Alta." DISHYPE has managed to revolutionize the electronic music genre and built up a community of loyal fans passionate about their music.
Teo expressed his excitement and gratitude about the opportunity to record the song and create the video, saying, "Having the opportunity to record this song and this video was amazing! Being able to recreate a scene like this took me out of my comfort zone, but I loved the challenge. Also, having the chance to work with such an incredible team was the best!"
