Miami's The Tank Brewing Co. is gearing up for its 9th Annual Tank Beer Run 5K on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The evening race combines fitness, craft beer, and philanthropy, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Nicklaus Children's Hospital to support pediatric care for children and families across South Florida.
Voted South Florida's "Best Post-Race Celebration," the event has become a staple for runners and craft beer enthusiasts alike. Participants are also encouraged to bring new toys to support the hospital's annual Toy Drive, adding another layer of community impact to the day.
Race Details and After-Party
The 5K starts and finishes at The Tank Brewing Co., located at 5100 NW 72nd Avenue in Miami. After crossing the finish line, runners and guests can enjoy an after-party featuring 18 beers on tap brewed at The Tank, live music, food-by-the-bite, games, dancing, live art, and premium cigars.
Every registrant receives a commemorative race t-shirt, finisher medal, cigar, and complimentary beer. The post-race celebration has become just as much of a draw as the run itself, creating a festive atmosphere that brings together Miami's fitness and craft beer communities.
Introducing Unfilter Miami and Shark Valley IPA
This year's Beer Run arrives alongside The Tank's new brand transformation: Unfilter Miami. The bold rebrand celebrates the city's raw, authentic spirit and marks the evolution of the brewery's flagship IPA, now called Shark Valley IPA.
The new beer carries a mission beyond the glass. For every case of Shark Valley IPA sold, $1 will be donated to the Alliance for Florida's National Parks. The partnership extends The Tank's commitment to giving back, supporting conservation efforts that protect Florida's natural spaces.
A Growing Commitment to Community
The Tank Brewing Co. has spent nearly a decade building a reputation not just for quality craft beer, but for meaningful community involvement. The annual Beer Run has raised significant funds for Nicklaus Children's Hospital over the years, helping provide world-class care to families who need it most.
With the addition of the Shark Valley IPA partnership with the Alliance for Florida's National Parks, The Tank is expanding its impact beyond race day. The brewery's approach shows how local businesses can create lasting change through consistent, purpose-driven initiatives.
How to Participate
Registration for the 9th Annual Tank Beer Run 5K is open now. Runners of all levels are welcome, and the evening start time makes it easier for people to fit the race into their Saturday schedule. Those who can't run but still want to support the cause can attend the after-party and enjoy The Tank's full lineup of craft beers while contributing to a good cause.
The event takes place rain or shine, with all proceeds benefiting Nicklaus Children's Hospital and toy donations supporting families during the holiday season.
