Colombian pop trio TIMØ is back with a track that captures both heartbreak and heat. Their latest single, “Traguita,” featuring rising Colombian artist Juan Duque, brings a fresh dose of tropical energy to Latin pop. Released under Universal Music Latino, the song paints a vivid picture of fleeting love stories—the kind that show up quickly, burn brightly, and disappear just as fast.
Whether it’s a weekend fling, a summer crush, or a “what if” that never quite turned into something real, Traguita taps into that raw, relatable space. The track is now streaming on all major platforms.

The Late-Night Studio Gamble That Paid Off
Getting this collab to happen wasn’t exactly smooth. TIMØ and Duque had tried to coordinate for a while, but conflicting schedules got in the way. The only time that worked ended up being a late-night session right before the Premios Nuestra Tierra. Everyone was exhausted from a day full of wardrobe fittings, and canceling seemed like the easier option.
Instead, they decided to roll with it.
“When Juan got to the studio, we were drained,” said Andrés Vásquez of TIMØ. “But we ordered food, took a breath, and gave it a shot. Before we knew it, it was 4 a.m., and we had a track we couldn’t stop playing.”

A Sound That Feels Warm and Alive
Built on afro-tropical rhythms, live band textures, and melodic guitar lines, Traguita stands out with its vibrant, sun-soaked sound. It blends TIMØ’s emotional signature with Duque’s tropical flair—creating something that feels equally refreshing and nostalgic.
“We’ve always liked Juan’s sound,” shared Alejo Ochoa. “We wanted to bring that flavor into our world. Something rhythmic and warm, but still very much us.”

A Summer Vibe, Rain or Shine
The music video, directed by longtime collaborator Hugo Rubiano, keeps the energy just as breezy. Filmed indoors during a rainstorm in Bogotá, the team built a full beach setup complete with sand, lights, and a fantasy version of summer.
“We couldn’t shoot on location, so we brought the beach inside,” said Felipe Galat. “We wanted something fun and carefree, something that matched the feel of the song.”
Riding Momentum After “KARMA”
Traguita follows the release of TIMØ’s earlier 2025 single “KARMA”, which leaned more introspective and nostalgic. Between that and their growing list of collaborations—including with Andrés Cepeda and Bacilos—the trio is shaping their sound while reaching new audiences across Latin America and beyond.
Currently on tour in Spain, the band has sold out venues including their upcoming show in Madrid, part of the Noches del Botánico concert series. Their summer run wraps up August 1 in Alicante.
Still Rising
Nominated for Best New Artist at the Latin Grammys in 2023, TIMØ’s momentum hasn’t slowed down. With strong songwriting, approachable energy, and a loyal fanbase, they’re carving a distinct lane in the global Latin pop scene.
And if Traguita is any clue, their next chapter’s going to be just as catchy.
