At just 23, Trueno is making moves that feel way bigger than his age suggests. The Argentine rapper’s latest project, EL ÚLTIMO BAILE DELUXE (ALBUM), is not just a follow-up to his Latin GRAMMY-winning release, but a sharper, bolder expansion of everything he's been building. Released via Sony Music Latin, this version offers more than bonus tracks—it’s a statement of artistic evolution.

This deluxe edition doesn’t just pad the original. It builds on it with intention, layering cultural references, lyrical heat, and genre-blending sounds that reflect Trueno’s understanding of Hip-Hop’s past and his role in its future.

Opening Strong: From 1982 to Today

The album opens with “GRANDMASTER,” a track that immediately taps into the roots of rap. With a sample from Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five’s “The Message,” Trueno lays down a homage that feels earned. It’s not just a nod to history—it’s a power move.

From there, he brings in Feid on “CRUZ,” a more reflective track with boom bap flavor, examining the emotional highs and lows of love. It’s smooth, moody, and catchy without losing lyrical depth.

Genre Blending and Global Energy

The next phase of the album stretches genre boundaries. “EN LA CITY,” featuring Young Miko, fuses electronic production with classic Hip-Hop elements, showcasing Trueno’s ability to stay grounded in rap while playing with pop-forward melodies. “LAURYN,” meanwhile, slows things down into a space that feels more intimate. Light synths, reverbed vocals, and delicate plucks set the tone as Trueno opens up emotionally.

Hard Bars and Big Beats

The second half of the album sharpens in tone. “VIOLENTO” goes hard, channeling distorted 808s and energy that could soundtrack a lyrical face-off. Think Kendrick Lamar’s “DNA.” on overdrive. “FRESH” takes us to the West Coast with a bass-driven track that would sit comfortably in a DJ Mustard set. It's confident, it's fun, and it’s one of the most radio-ready songs on the project.

The closing track, “3:44,” featuring legendary producer DJ Premier, takes it back to the East Coast. Strings and scratches meet heartfelt lyrics. The outro even samples a song by Trueno’s own father, Peligro—a moment that ties legacy and future together in a full-circle way.

Trueno’s Global Momentum

Beyond the studio, Trueno’s growth is impossible to ignore. After landing a Latin GRAMMY for “Tranky Funky,” he broke into Spotify’s Global Top 10 with “Real Gangsta Love” and sold out shows across Europe and Latin America. His Outside Lands debut in San Francisco marked his U.S. entry, followed by packed venues in New York, LA, and Miami.

With his E.U.B. DELUXE WORLD TOUR announced, he's not slowing down. Stops include Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, and more cities to be revealed soon.

Bridging Generations and Borders

What sets Trueno apart isn’t just his bars or beats—it’s his cultural fluency. He understands the legacy of Hip-Hop, respects the pioneers, and makes room for collaborators across continents. He can hold his own with legends like DJ Premier while keeping pace with rising stars like Feid and Young Miko.

Trueno isn’t trying to fit a mold. He’s shaping his own space, and so far, the crowd is listening.
