Every two years, Venice becomes the center of the contemporary art world as collectors, curators, and travelers gather for La Biennale di Venezia. The 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia runs from May 9 through November 22, 2026. Titled In Minor Keys, the exhibition was conceived by acclaimed Artistic Director Koyo Kouoh, whose vision continues to shape the event despite her passing prior to its opening. The gin is distilled using carefully selected ingredients sourced throughout Italy, including native juniper, creating a balanced spirit that reflects the country's diverse landscapes.

The family's connection to Venice extends beyond the gin itself. Simon Mordant served as Commissioner of the Australian Pavilion during the 2013 and 2015 Venice Biennales, and the family played a leading role in rebuilding the pavilion, which became the first new 21st-century building constructed within the Biennale grounds.

A Cocktail Created for the Biennal

To commemorate the partnership, Quattro Gatti introduced an exclusive signature cocktail, The Reflection, created specifically for Biennale Arte 2026. Developed by Quattro Gatti Brand Ambassador Mattia Cilia in collaboration with the bar team at The St. Regis Venice, the cocktail draws inspiration from Venice's changing light, canals, and quiet elegance.

Its foundation is Quattro Gatti Olive Grove Gin, whose subtle saline character evokes the Mediterranean landscape. Hibiscus syrup, fresh lemon juice, and pink grapefruit soda add floral, citrus, and refreshing notes that evolve with each sip.
