Argentine rock icon Fito Páez made his return to Miami unforgettable this week, delivering a powerful performance at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida. The second stop on his exclusive U.S. tour showcased why he remains one of Latin rock's most celebrated figures, with a setlist that spanned more than 40 years of music history.

Opening With a Classic
Páez kicked off the night with "El amor después del amor," one of his most recognized hits, before moving through a 21-song setlist that pulled from both his Latin GRAMMY-winning album NOVELA and his extensive back catalog. The crowd responded enthusiastically to fan favorites like "Llueve sobre mojado," "Abre," and "11 y 6," singing along to lyrics many have known for decades.
One of the night's standout moments came when Páez performed "Sale el Sol," a single from his most recent album that won Best Rock Song at the 2025 Latin GRAMMYs. He also delivered "Cable a tierra," a ballad from his 1984 album Giros, showing off his vocal range and bringing the audience to their feet.

A Full Band Experience
The Argentine singer-songwriter was backed by an eight-piece band that included a horn section, a backing vocalist, and his signature piano, which stayed center stage for most of the show. The piano has long been a defining element of Páez's performances, and this night was no different, with the instrument serving as the anchor for many of the evening's most memorable moments.
From Los Angeles to New York
The Miami show followed a sold-out performance at the YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles, where fans packed the venue and sang along nonstop. The energy in both cities confirmed that Páez's fanbase in the U.S. remains as passionate as ever.
This Sunday, November 23, Páez will perform at Brooklyn's Kings Theatre in New York, where he'll celebrate his two Latin GRAMMY wins and his nomination for the 2026 GRAMMYs. Tickets for the final show of his "Páez Tecknicolor USA '25" tour are still available on his official website.
A Banner Year for Páez
The U.S. tour caps off a remarkable year for the artist. In 2025, Páez made his NPR Tiny Desk debut, released NOVELA to critical acclaim, and won two Latin GRAMMYs, bringing his career total to 13 wins. That makes him one of the most awarded artists in Latin GRAMMY history.
He also received the Platinum Konex Award as Best Author/Composer of the Decade from Argentina's Konex Foundation and was honored with an Honorary Doctorate from the National University of Rosario for his contributions to music.
With decades of hits behind him and new recognition still coming in, Fito Páez continues to prove why he's considered a legend in Latin rock.
