The 2025 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina took over Miami's Kaseya Center on Saturday, October 25, with performances from Gilberto Santa Rosa, Morat, Kapo, Oscar D'León, Danny Ocean, Olga Tañón, Chyno y Nacho, Elvis Crespo, DJ Nelson, and Lenier. Enrique Santos, President and Chief Creative Officer of iHeartLatino, hosted the event, which celebrated Latin music's growing influence in popular culture.
The night's biggest moment came when Gilberto Santa Rosa received the iHeartRadio Corazón Latino Award presented by State Farm, recognizing his four decades of contributions to salsa music.
El Caballero de la Salsa Gets His Flowers
Santa Rosa, known as El Caballero de la Salsa, has spent over 40 years shaping the sound of salsa. He started with Puerto Rican orchestras before breaking out as a solo artist, consistently pushing the genre forward while earning multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards along the way.
His catalog includes hits that have connected across generations: "Conciencia," "Que Manera de Quererte," "Perdoname," "Vivir Sin Ella," and "Conteo Regresivo." The award recognizes both his vocal talent and his lasting impact on salsa worldwide. During his performance, backed by a full band with trumpets, drums, and guitars, he salsa danced across the stage performing "La Agarro Bajando," "Conteo Regresivo," and "Conciencia" before accepting the honor.

Performances That Kept the Energy High
Lenier kicked off the night with an energetic set that included "Papita Frita," getting the Miami crowd moving early. Chyno y Nacho followed with their biggest tracks, "Me Voy Enamorando" and "Tú Me Quemas," keeping the momentum going.
Danny Ocean turned his set into a visual experience, performing against backdrops of beaches, rainforests, and sunsets. He ran through hits like "Valare," "Corazón," and "Me Rehuso" while the stage transformed into a tropical setting.
Olga Tañón showed up in a sparkling silver and black outfit and turned the venue into a full dance party. She and her backup dancers led the crowd through "Presencie Tu Amor" from 1993, plus "Achilipu" and "Así Yo Soy," getting everyone on their feet.
Genre-Crossing Acts Fill Out the Lineup
Kapo brought pyrotechnics and high energy, performing "X Ti," "UWAIE," and "OHNANA." Colombian Latin pop rock band Morat got the audience jumping and singing along to "Faltas Tú," "Me Toca A Mí," and "Besos en Guerra," with the group's vocal harmonies and stage movement matching the crowd's energy.
DJ Nelson mixed hits from Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, and Nicky Jam before surprising everyone by bringing out Christian Alicea for a salsa medley and some of his own tracks, including "Es Un Secreto."
Elvis Crespo worked the stage with his dancers, performing "Píntame" and "Me Mataron." He brought out surprise guest Ebenezer Guerra for "Luna Llena" and jumped into the crowd during his closer "Suavemente," giving fans a more intimate experience despite the arena setting.
Oscar D'León, known as The Pharaoh of Salsa, closed the show with "Bravo de verdad," "Yo Quisiera," and "Esa Mujer," backed by a full band and dancers.
