In a dazzling celebration of Latin music, the 24th Annual LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS in Seville, Spain, witnessed Latin Rock superstar JUANES clinching the Best Pop/Rock Album for his deeply personal creation, ‘VIDA COTIDIANA.’ This victory not only celebrated the Colombian icon’s artistic prowess but also solidified his standing as The Latin Recording Academy’s most honored solo artist, boasting an impressive tally of 25 Career Latin Grammy Awards from a remarkable forty-nine nominations.

JUANES, known for his electrifying live performances, didn't disappoint this year either. He delivered an emotionally charged rendition of his “Best Rock Song” nominee “GRIS,” alongside six of this year’s Best New Artist nominees – Gale, Borja, Natascha Falcão, Paola Guanche, Joaquina, & León Leiden. Adding to the spectacle, Juanes showcased his Signature Fender Stratocaster in a dynamic collaboration with Rauw Alejandro for “Baby, Hello.” His album ‘VIDA COTIDIANA’ also garnered critical acclaim with a nomination for “Best Latin Rock Or Alternative Album” at the upcoming 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
Rolling Stone lauded ‘VIDA COTIDIANA’ for its creative freshness and sharp production. Despite Juanes’ three-decade career, the album reflects his evolving artistry, blending lessons from his musical heroes with vibrant originality. The album, featuring a select few but potent collaborators, is recognized as one of Juanes' best works, displaying his refined songwriting skills and a mature perspective on life and social issues.
‘VIDA COTIDIANA,’ produced by Juanes and Sebastian Krys and released under Universal Music Latino, represents a fusion of Juanes’ rock roots and his introspective songwriting. The album, enriched with contributions from notable artists like Cuban poet Alexis Díaz Pimienta, GRAMMY winner Tommy Torres, and Dominican legend Juan Luis Guerra, marks a high point in Juanes' illustrious career. As Juanes embarks on his “VIDA COTIDIANA WORLD TOUR,” the album’s live renditions are eagerly anticipated by fans across North America and his native Colombia. This tour, coupled with the album's critical acclaim from sources like NPR and Billboard, underscores Juanes' unwavering influence in the world of Latin music.
