For the second time, Karol G and her team brought FAME out to her stadium tour in Miami, and we don't take that lightly.
Saturday was the second and final Miami night of the Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour at Hard Rock Stadium. The stands were full before the opener even started.
Greeicy Opens After a Big Week in Houston
That opener was Greeicy. The Colombian singer had a crowd that already knew her songs, which made her set feel like part of the main show instead of a warmup.
Karol G arrived just after a big week. On Sept. 28 in Houston, she brought out Drake for the first live performance of "Ahí," their song from her August album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto. Then he did "One Dance" while she danced next to him. Miami didn't get Drake, but it got a show that didn't need him.
Red Parrots and Rising Congas
The main stage was four or five stories tall, with dancers on every level and projection mapping washing the structure in the tour's colors. Karol G kept finding new ways to stand out inside it. At one point she climbed into a giant red parrot in the middle of the stage and sang from inside it. Later, three tall conga drums rose from under the stage with her lying across them, lifting until she was the only thing anyone was looking at.
Guests, Mariachis and Eddy Lover
Elena Rose joined her for a song, and an all-female mariachi band delivered the moment people kept talking about on the way out. Mariachi has always been mostly male, so seeing it on a stadium stage, led by women, at a Karol G show felt like a deliberate choice.
Eddy Lover got one of the loudest receptions of the night. Karol G welcomed the Panamanian singer for "Dile Luna," their collaboration from her 2025 album Tropicoqueta. Then he went into "Perdóname," his hit with La Factoría, and the whole stadium sang it back to him.
The Crowd Gets a Turn
She also brought fans up onstage and made them part of the show. She danced with them, posed for photos and built a whole segment around them. In a stadium that size, it closed the distance between the stage and the seats.
The Water Stage Finale
The biggest swing came near the end. A second stage built around water took over, with dancers moving across the surface, spray flying in every direction and cameras catching all of it. On a stadium tour, that's the segment people end up filming instead of watching.
Then Karol G called Greeicy and Elena Rose back out and handed them flowers. She gave them their flowers, literally, in front of the whole stadium.
Familiar Faces
The crowd felt like a reunion for us. We ran into FAME cover star Jencarlos Canela, Karol G's friend and FAME alum Daiky Gamboa, and familiar faces from across Miami's media world. Gamboa later hosted the afterparty at LIV.
FAME has followed Karol G's career for years, from the music to the charitable work she puts her name behind, and we'll keep covering both. To Karol G and her team: thank you for keeping us in mind.
