Nelson Albareda Recognized with Hall of Fame Award by Miami Dade College

Nelson Albareda, the CEO of Loud And Live, was honored with induction into Miami Dade College's prestigious Hall of Fame. The ceremony, held at the Loew's Hotel in Coral Gables, celebrated Albareda's remarkable achievements as a business leader and his contributions to the entertainment industry. The annual event also serves as a fundraiser to support student scholarships.

“It is an honor to welcome a new group of extraordinary alumni making an impact in our community,” said MDC President Madeline Pumariega. “Through their professional and personal accomplishments, they truly exemplify what it means to ‘Be MDC,’ while helping to support the growth and development of future MDC trailblazers.”

Albareda joins an esteemed group of alumni from various fields, including banking, architecture, journalism, philanthropy, and entertainment, who have received this distinction since 2003. His award recognizes his outstanding accomplishments in the entertainment sector.

“I am humbled and honored to be recognized and inducted into this year’s Miami Dade College Alumni Hall of Fame among outstanding individuals, who like me, have excelled and strived in our professional career, while supporting the education of our future generations,” said Albareda.

With over 25 years of experience, Albareda has made a significant impact as a Cuban-American GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® Award-winning producer. His expertise spans multiple industries, including media, live entertainment, marketing, content, sports, and real estate. In 2017, Albareda founded Loud And Live, a renowned company consistently ranked among the top 15 global promoters by industry authorities Billboard and Pollstar.

Billboard has repeatedly recognized Albareda's influence and named him one of the most influential figures in entertainment. His inclusion on prestigious lists such as Billboard's Top 100 Entertainment Executives and Billboard's Top 40 Latin Power Players further solidifies his industry stature. Albareda is also a sought-after speaker at prominent events organized by the International Live Music Conference (ILMC), Billboard, Variety, and the Latin Recording Academy.

Beyond his exceptional professional accomplishments, Albareda has a strong commitment to community service. In 2010, he was appointed by the US Congress as a Commissioner on the Federal Commission responsible for providing a report to President Obama on the creation of the National Museum of the American Latino in Washington DC. Additionally, he currently serves as a Director on the US Cuba Democracy PAC, a Cuban-American organization dedicated to advocating democracy in Cuba.

Nelson Albareda's induction into Miami Dade College's Hall of Fame is a testament to his remarkable career, global influence, and unwavering commitment to both the entertainment industry and the community. His accomplishments serve as an inspiration to aspiring professionals and future generations alike.
