The Spotify Global Top songs chart has just made history with the number one spot being taken by rising Mexican star, Peso Pluma, becoming the first Mexican artist to achieve this feat. Peso Pluma also recently landed at number five on the Spotify Global Artists chart, marking his growing global influence.

Peso Pluma has made waves in the music industry, breaking records as the first Mexican artist to lead the ‘Daily Top Artists Mexico’ chart on Spotify. He has five tracks on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and six songs on Billboard’s Global 200, with two tracks taking the top 10 positions at number seven and nine. Currently, he is ranked number five on Spotify’s Global Artist chart, falling behind only Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, and Drake.

On Billboard’s Top 10 Mexico chart, Peso Pluma currently holds positions one through six with “La Bebe (Remix),” “Ella Baila Sola,” “AMG,” “PRC,” “Por Las Noches,” and “El Azul.” His song “Ella Baila Sola,” featuring Eslabon Armado, has also taken No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart and No. 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100. “Ella Baila Sola” is currently the number one track on Billboard Latin Airplay Chart, followed by “La Bebe (Remix)” at number two, “AMG” at number six, and “PRC” at number seven.
