BORJA, the Spanish singer, songwriter, and producer, has released his first studio album titled "rimas del verbo amar" today. The album is a compilation of 12 tracks that explore all the emotions related to giving and receiving love. The songs are characterized by soulful melodies and beautiful prose that captivates the listener's heart.

The album includes previously released tracks such as "Beirut," "Aire," "tensión" featuring Valentina Rico, "amigos," "tbb" featuring Sergi, "d Bien a MaL," "Tu Cuarto," and "otra canción." The lyrics of the sentimental pop songs are profound and relatable, portraying everyday scenarios.

“I’m beyond excited to present my first album ‘rimas del verbo amar.’ This has been a labor of love for many years, creating the melodies, writing the lyrics, finding inspiration from my own lived experiences, my friends’ stories, watching movies, listening to other artists and their proposals, and by allowing myself to feel. I’m very proud of the outcome and I can’t wait for you to listen to everything that I poured into this album,” said BORJA.

The idea of the album was born in 2017, when BORJA wrote the title track "rimas del verbo amar" about a long-distance relationship that was on the verge of collapsing. The song reassured the other person that everything would be fine and encouraged them to focus on all the beautiful things that rhyme with the verb "love." The album is a reflection of that, with songs that explore the different aspects of love, from expressing one's feelings to accepting that relationships don't always work out.

Along with the album, BORJA is releasing the music video for "Quizás," the opening track of the album. The song talks about the end of a relationship and the hope that the other person will find love again. The video, directed, produced, and edited by Andrea Jimenez and BORJA, features melancholic tunes and an intimate vibe. It is set on an empty beach surrounded by black flowers and has a black and white treatment that represents the feeling of mourning a lost relationship.
