Speed, Glamour, and Flavor: FAME Icon's Guide to 2025 Miami Race Week

Formula One is the highest class of international racing for open-wheel, single-seater racing cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, (FIA). Key automobile brands include Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull, and Renault, among others. Some notable historical contenders also include Alfa Romeo, Lotus, and Maserati.

F1 (Formula One) is the entire series of races, while Grand Prix refers to a single race within that series. The Miami Grand Prix started in 2022, and is a newer addition to the F1 calendar.

The race happens around the Miami International Autodrome located at Hard Rock Stadium (home of the Miami Dolphins football team) in Miami Gardens. With an estimated top speed of 320km per hour, fans will watch drivers race with speed at the 2025 Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix throughout the circuit at various viewing locations.

It’s not a traditional city street circuit like Monaco, but the Miami International Autodrome is a purpose-built track laid out around the stadium. So you get arena energy plus a fast, flowing track. Held in late May, the Monaco GP is one the world’s most exclusive high-end events.

The Vibe:

The event leans heavily into the glamorous Miami culture — epic parties, celebrities everywhere, yachts placed in a fake marina inside the track, lots of music, and huge VIP events.

As F1 Miami takes over the city, premier clubs, like MILA Lounge and CASA NEOS Beach Club, are bringing in world-class DJs to their venue.

Jack Daniel’s and the McLaren Formula 1 team created an immersive music platform, Jack’s Garage. On Friday, May 2, fans can enjoy performances by Latin music star Brray and Argentine icon Oriana Sabatini, Cuban bites from Chef Louie Estrada, Jack Daniel’s sips, and photo opportunities with a McLaren F1 race car. Open to the public 21+; register at: jackdanielsgarage.com

While Chef Ramsay debuts his culinary program inside the F1® Garage at the Paddock Club, his restaurants - Lucky Cat Miami and Hell’s Kitchen Miami, will extend that world off the track with three days of blending food, design, and racing culture into an unforgettable hospitality experience.

Whether you are in Magic City for Formula One, or another great reason, be sure to make “pit stops” at these fine dining designations to experience the flavors of Miami’s diverse neighborhoods.
